Security

The safety of all students is a priority here at FUMC Day School. We have full-time security personnel  during school hours to help provide a safe and worry-free environment.

All of our doors into the school remained locked during the day. Parents and teachers may enter with a security code. Closed circuit video cameras monitor the school 24 hours a day.

All of our teachers are required to attend 24 hours of continuing education every year and they all have First Aid and CPR certification. The teachers have all completed our Ministry Safe program, a background check, and FBI fingerprinting. Our teachers love working with children and we are proud of our reputation as a program with a low staff turnover rate. 

We have fire drills once a month, and tornado drills and lock down drills every 3 months.
